We will meet at the Clark Sports Center, Susquehanna Avenue, Cooperstown parking lot at 9:30 to consolidate riders. We will be hiking from Fernleigh Farm on the East Side of Otsego Lake, doing a loop and ending at Star Field, back to the Farm. Plan to be back to the parking area by noon. | ||

Ernest and Heide Mahlke (phone 432-2583) will lead a hike on May 17th to the NCT section from Cazenovia to Chittenango Falls Park, approximately 8 miles round trip. We plan to go rain or shine, since the trail is broad enough to accommodate umbrellas. Meet at the old Ames Parking lot at 9:30 a.m. at the Dollar Store end. We need to compile the weekend hike schedule for July, August, and September by June 3rd, since we are going to Europe on the 5th. The ADK Hike for Tuesday, May 20th will be led by us directly from our driveway. We will hike WINNEY HILL RIDGE. Starting from our house at 10:00AM, we will walk up to the top of the hill behind our house, walk on some of the Ridge hiking trails, go down the Gas Line to Upper West Street to Herrick Hill Road, then back through the woods going south coming down behind our house. This hike rates a B-. Please bring a lunch. We will supply drinks and dessert, and weather permitting, we can eat on our deck. Otherwise we can eat inside. | ||

The club will have its monthly meeting at the Elm Park United Methodist Church at 401 Chestnut St. in Oneonta. The meeting will begin with a potluck dinner at 6 p.m. followed by a program by Nina and Joe Hart at 7 p.m. The harts will show still pictures, slides and a DVD of Denali National Park. | ||

We hope that those of you who are in town on that day will come out to support the team and perhaps help a bit at the exchange points.
