Milford State Forest Hike
Start: 09:30

Tues, August 31, hike will be at Milford State Forest at 10:00 am. At 9:30 am meet in the parking lot of the Dollar Store off Winney Hill Road, or drive directly to the DEC shed on Kelly Corner’s Rd between Burner’s Rd and State Land Rd. The hike will be about 2.5 miles long involving some gentle hills. Bring lunch. For further details call Virginia or Currie Marr, 432-5434.

Hartwick State Forest Hike
Start: 10:00

HARTWICK STATE FOREST HIKE - Sept. 7 . Meet at Biological Field Station Barn on Zakow (or Zachow) Road at 10:00.
ONEONTA GROUP - Currie Marr has agreed to lead the group from the old Ames at 9:30; Proceed on St. Rt. 205; turn left onto WHITEHOUSE ROAD; keep right at the V where Whitehouse turns into ZAKOW. Pass State Line Road and continue a very short distance to the Biological Field Station barn on the right where you will park. Irv will meet the groups there.

Lower Riddell Park Hike
Start: 09:45

Doug and Scott Fielder will lead a hike at Lower Riddell Park on Tuesday, September 14. Meet at the parking lot near exit 17 of I-88 in time to leave at 9:45. Those who desire can meet for lunch at Pondo’s after the hike. Call 607-433-2727 with questions.

Phoenix Mills Hike

Tuesday, September 21 we will hike on Land Trust Property in Phoenix Mills. Meet at 10 am. Oneonta Price Chopper at 9:30. From Rt. 28 below Cooperstown turn right on Phoenix Mills Rd. Go past the Otsego Manor. Just before the STOP, ROAD CLOSED sign turn right into lane to parking area. Bring lunch. . Land Trust people will join us for a bit of history and other info. Van Hornsville Gorge Hike
Start: 09:30

Stephen Bonnell and Linda J. Melchionne (315-858-0359) will be leading the hike Tuesday, September 28th. We will meet at the Cooperstown Price Chopper (the old Great American) at 9:30 a.m. then drive north to Van Hornsville . Hopefully, we will arrive at the Owen D. Young School around 10:00 a.m. to begin the hike along the stream in back of the school. There are some picnic tables there where we can eat our lunch.
