Susquehanna Chapter ADK

We will hike from the upper parking lot near Binder Gym up to Table Rocks, along the trail through the woods, across the ridge to Strawberry Fields, around the fields, and then along a mountain bike trail in the wooded land above West Street. It may be 2-3 miles of fairly easy walking with some mild ups and downs. I have permission from Hartwick to do this walk. Plans are to hike instead of ski. Meet at The Farmers' Museum parking lot at 9:30 a.m. We will car pool to Clark Tower area for a hike. Ted Kantorowski has agreed to lead us through some of the trails. Then plan to return to town for soup and comradery at Mary's.
Additional information: The Oneonta group will meet at Price Chopper and be ready to leave at 9 am Dec 13. Meet at Farmers' Museum parking lot north of Cooperstown at 9:30. We will carpool to Clark Tower area. Mary Dunkle 607-547-2162

Our ADK hike for 12/20/11 will be at Gilbert Lake State Park. Depending on the weather and what happens between now and then please bring equipment of your choice: snowshoes, cross country skis or your hiking boots and poles. Glad to hear from Kathy at the Park that the bridge repair has been completed. The choice will be ours and Gilbert Lake is very friendly to all kinds of hikers. We should be able to have two levels.
