Tuesday January 10, 2012
Start: 00:30

The Tuesday hike for January 10 will meet at 9:30 AM at the Farmer's Museum parking lot (at the golf course). We will consolidate cars/riders and proceed to the Moe Pond trailhead. The hike will have some uphill, and will be between 1 and 2 hours. We will end up back at the Farmer's Museum, and people can rearrange with cars. The hike is wet with a lot of leaves, mud and some blowdowns and limbs, but very passable. We did it last weekend, and now of course have a couple of inches of snow.

On Tuesday, Jan 17, 2012 we plan to walk the roads dissecting the Hartwick State Forest and Dr. Petersen's land for a 3 to 4 mile hike. For that reason, we will meet at the intersection of Zachow Rd. and Curry Rd. (where we usually meet when Irv and Monica lead the hike) at 10 a.m. Oneonta car poolers should meet at the old Ames lot by 9:30 a.m. We will be done by 12 o'clock. The weather seems iffy, so far (maybe rain with snow, but not as cold). Count on walking in boots and add stabilizers, if necessary and available. Ernie & Heidi Mahlke, 432-2583.
