Susquehanna Chapter ADK

We will hike from our house along the railroad tracks, through the wooded area at the south end of Goodyear Lake to the Colliers Dam, about a 2-hour walk. Anyone wanting a shorter and easier hike can walk the lake roads, about a 1-hour walk (I'll provide you with a map). We will eat lunch at our house when we return. Directions: From Oneonta - Rt. 7 east to Cooperstown Jct, sharp left at Austin's Auction Barn on to Ct. Rt. 35, proceed one mile+ to Sunnikrest Rd. From Cooperstown- Rt. 28 south to Portlandville, turn left on to 35A and bear right past Wightman's Lumber, continue approx. 2 mi. to Sunnikrest Rd. On Sunnikrest, cross RR tracks, 1st house on left.
