Todd Road Hike – April 14, 2009

It was a nice warm spring day as 20 hikers walked a 4 mile loop on Todd Road in the town of Hartwick. We passed a large pond with several geese and a few ducks lazily swimming around. We also found the old Lippett Cemetery quite interesting and several tried to decipher the engravings on the very old weathered headstones. Afterwards, several tired and hungry hikers went to Jackie`s for lunch. Photographs 1-5, 10 and 12 were taken by Scott Fielder and photos 6-9 & 11 were taken by Carol Saggese. The yellow flower is Coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara).
