Susquehanna Chapter ADK

The hike for September 15th is Rum Hill located off Rt 80 and 28 up Widderspoon Road above Otsego Lake in Cooperstown. Rum Hill is another of the properties of the SUCO Biological Field Station. We have special permission to go there and I think folks will like it. Julie Smith and I explored the orange trail which we visited on two occasions recently. It is challenging. There are ups and downs and level sections. It's very wooded and the woods is very beautiful and isolated. Trails are well marked. I also hope to include a short section which features a falls camping area. Oneonta group will leave from Price Chopper at 9:15AM. We will meet others at about 9:55 AM at the Farmers Museum parking lot on Rt 80. Please use the lot on the east side. Bring lunch, water, wear your sturdy boots or shoes.
