Irv and Monica Peters will lead a hike up (and down) Mt. Wellington (commonly known as "Sleeping Lion") on Tues. 9/29. Meet at 9:30 at Price Chopper in Oneonta or at 10:30 at the entrance to Glimmerglass State Park on the east side of Otsego Lake (Co. Rt. 31) - trail is about 2.5 miles total and of moderate difficulty. It is described in the Otsego County Trail Map. Lunch can be eaten after the hike at the park ... or wherever.
