Susquehanna Chapter ADK

We visited the Greenway Monday afternoon and discovered too much water and ice to safely hike there on Tuesday.

We will be taking an alternative hike on streets and roads starting from our home at the Plains, for a total distance of about 3.5 miles.

Meet (10:00 am) at the Fielders’ home, 66 Heritage Circle, Oneonta, located in the Plains. Coming West from Oneonta on Route 7 go past the traffic light at the Route 205 intersection. Take the second right after this intersection on to Plains Drive. Keep right for about ¼ mile and go past a large apartment building, now under construction, on the right. The Fielders’ home is on the right. Park in the driveway off of Heritage Circle, or in the driveway for the middle unit, or on the right side of Plains Drive.
