Milford State Forest Walk

M Beach email update 4/4/08: Tuesday Hike, April 15, will be led by the Marrs at Milford State Forest . The hike will be about 2 hrs and is mostly flat terrain with one hill. The difficulty level would probably be C+. Waterproof footwear probably will be needed and bring walking sticks and cleats just in case. Highlights of this walk are a forest recovering from a tornado and “surprise pond.” We will consolidate rides in the “Old Ames” parking lot near the Dollar Store off Winney Hill Road in the town of Oneonta . At 9:30 a.m. cars will leave for the hiking site. If you wish, bring a lunch for a tailgate social. For further details call Currie Marr at 432-5434.
