Susquehanna Chapter ADK

The Susquehanna Chapter of ADK has a team paddling in the Sunday, May 25th Grand Prix Relay Race. We hope that those of you who are in town on that day will come out to support the team and perhaps help a bit at the exchange points. Our team consists of:

1st Leg - Kay & Sue Sanford
2nd Leg - Jack & Barb Meeks
3rd Leg - Julie Smith & Tony Uhl
4th Leg - Jean Seroka & Julius Koenig
5th Leg - Stefan & Linda Seifried

The Race begins at 12:15PM behind The Super Eight Motel.

Remember - there will be a picnic at Seroka's Riverside Park starting late in the afternoon. 5:30 PM should be a good arrival time. However, Jean & Joe welcome you as early in the day as you wish. Bring a dish to pass, dishes and utensils, and a drinking cup. Just like we do at our meetings. Orders for Brooks Chicken halves or quarters will be taken in advance. Linda Wilcox will take your chicken order, either at the Monthly Meeting on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, or you can call her at 433-2985, or e-mail her at wilcoxl@hartwick.edu. Please pay for your Brooks chicken at the picnic.

DIRECTIONS: Take Route 7 to Otego. At the only traffic light in town (by the elementary school), turn onto River Street and cross over the railroad tracks. Just past the open area on the right, turn right into the drive to the pavilion. Watch for the ADK sign and/or the toilet with the “Welcome friends” sign.
